San Antonio Fire & Police Pension Fund hired Strategic Global Advisors and EAM Investors to manage $10 million and $5 million, respectively, in international equity, said recently released board meeting minutes.
A search for international equity emerging managers was launched last year. Funding will come from a Russell 1000 index strategy; the manager of that strategy was not disclosed.
Matthew O’Reilly, chief investment officer for the $2.6 billion pension fund, could not be reached for additional information by press time.
