Pennsylvania State University’s endowment returned a net 3.1% for its fiscal year ended June 30, said a report issued by the university.
The University Park-based endowment currently has $2.4 billion in assets, up 4% from the year ended June 30, 2014, when the endowment reported a return of 17.9%. The endowment’s five-year annualized net return as of June 30 was 11.5%, while its 10-year return was 7.8%.
As of June 30, the endowment’s asset allocation was 53% equities, 21% private equity and venture capital, 14% fixed income and cash, 8% hedge funds and 4% real assets.
