Dong-Ki Kim joined Aberdeen Asset Management as a senior manager with the firm's representative office in Seoul.
The position is a new one for Aberdeen's Seoul office, which “acts as a liaison and contact point for Korean institutions,” a news release said Thursday.
Mr. Kim was associate director, business development at Russell Investments in Seoul. In an email, Yuseok Kim, director and head of Korea for Russell Investments, said a search is underway to fill that position.
Dong-Ki Kim will report to Alex Kim, Aberdeen's chief representative in Korea. Alex Kim couldn't immediately be reached for further comment.
