Bertrand Julien-Laferriere was named head of real estate at Ardian, said spokeswoman Urvija Banerji.
It is a new position, the result of the alternatives money manager opening its new real estate unit.
Mr. Julien-Laferrière previously was CEO at commercial property company Société Foncière Lyonnaise.
