Jonathan S. Headley was named senior vice president and treasurer at The Walt Disney Co., Burbank, Calif.
Mr. Headley, who will be responsible for the management and oversight of the company’s pension plans and investments, among other duties, replaces Christine M. McCarthy, who was promoted to senior executive vice president and chief financial officer in June.
Mr. Headley reports to Ms. McCarthy. He was previously senior vice president, corporate finance, and assistant treasurer. David Jefferson, company spokesman, said in an e-mail that a replacement for Mr. Headley’s previous position has not been named.
As of Sept. 27, 2014, the company’s pension plan assets totaled $9.8 billion, according to the company’s most recent 10-K filing.
