Ominder Dhillon was named global head of institutional distribution at M&G Investments, spokeswoman Irene Chambers said.
It is a new position. Mr. Dhillon, who started this week, is responsible for M&G's institutional distribution across all asset classes — equities, fixed income, real estate and multiasset.
Mr. Dhillon reports to Simon Pilcher, CEO, fixed income.
Previously, Mr. Dhillon was managing director, global business development and client service, at Impax Asset Management. Scott Thompson, a new hire, took over Mr. Dhillon's sales responsibilities in the U.K., Europe and Asia. Existing staff members took over Mr. Dhillon's other responsibilities.
M&G Investments, Prudential's U.K. and European investment arm, had £256 billion ($402 billion) in assets under management as of June 30.
