Janet Li was named director, Greater China, investment services, at Towers Watson.
The expanded position is new, adding leadership of Towers Watson’s mainland China consulting business to Ms. Li’s existing responsibilities as director, investment services, Taiwan, and senior investment consultant, Hong Kong, spokesman Kelvin Ko said.
Ms. Li assumes her mainland responsibilities from Leslie Mao, who left his Shanghai-based position as director, investment services, China, last week. In a telephone interview, Mr. Mao said he decided to move to Australia for family reasons.
Ms. Li said in an e-mail she will continue to be based in Hong Kong, with plans to travel frequently to China.
