Norfolk County Retirement System, Canton, Mass., is searching for a real estate manager, said an RFP posted on the website of Wainwright Investment Counsel, investment consultant for the $770 million pension fund.
The pension fund wants to commit $20 million to an opportunistic/value-added real estate fund, according to the RFP. Further information was not available by press time.
The RFP is available on Wainwright’s website. Registration is required. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EDT Sept. 18. A timetable for a decision has yet to be determined.
Kathleen Kiely-Becchetti, executive director, and Joseph A. Connolly, county treasurer and chairman of the board of trustees, did not immediately respond to requests for further information.
