AES Corp., Arlington, Va., hired T. Rowe Price Group as record keeper of its AES Corp. Retirement Savings Plan, said a company spokesman.
T. Rowe Price replaces Bank of America Merrill Lynch. The change was made to give the company’s three 401(k) plans a common record keeper. T. Rowe Price is already record keeper of the other two plans.
A blackout period for participants begins during the week of Sept. 20 and ends during the week of Oct. 11.
As of Dec. 31, the AES Corp. Retirement Savings Plan had $382 million in assets, according to the company’s most recent 11-K filing. Information regarding the other plans was not available.
