West Melbourne (Fla.) Police Officers Retirement Plan committed $1 million to the ASB Allegiance Real Estate Fund, an open-end core real estate fund managed by ASB Real Estate Investments, said Karan Rounsavall, plan administrator, in an e-mail.
It is the $11 million pension fund's first entry into real estate.
Investment consultant The Bogdahn Group assisted.
