Jordan Nault was promoted to global leader of Mercer Investments' hedge fund research business.
Ms. Nault replaces Jelle Beenen in her new role, said Alayna Francis, a Mercer spokeswoman, in an e-mail. Mr. Beenen “will pursue opportunities outside Mercer,” Ms. Francis said. He could not be reached by press time.

The position is new and gives Mr. Thorndike responsibility for marketing Mercer Investments' private equity, hedge fund, real estate, infrastructure and other alternative investment consulting and research services to investors in the U.S. and Canada.
Mr. Thorndike was senior managing director-business development and client services at FOC Partners. Information about his replacement there could not be learned by press time.
