David Leduc was named CEO at Standish Mellon Asset Management Co., spokeswoman Melissa Cassar said.
Effective immediately, Mr. Leduc succeeds Desmond Mac Intyre, who will leave the company to pursue other opportunities. Mr. Mac Intyre will serve as an adviser to Standish until mid-November.
Mr. Leduc is chief investment officer at Standish Mellon. He will continue to serve as the firm's CIO.
Standish Mellon Asset Management, a fixed-income investment affiliate of BNY Mellon Investment Management, has $160 billion of assets under management.
