Ritson Ferguson has been appointed to the new position of global chief investment officer of real estate money manager CBRE Global Investors, said spokeswoman Pam Barnett in an e-mail.
Mr. Ferguson will coordinate the firm's investment decision-making and offerings for listed and unlisted real estate. He will continue in his role as CEO and co-chief investment officer of CBRE Clarion Securities, a post he has held since 1991. Mr. Ferguson will continue to report to Matt Khourie, CBRE Global Investors' CEO.
Mr. Ferguson will also remain a member of CBRE Global Investors' global executive committee and global investment committee.
