Missouri State Treasurer's Office, Jefferson City, is searching for a program manager for the state's Missouri Higher Education Savings Program, said Spencer Girouard, spokesman for Clint Zweifel, Missouri state treasurer, who oversees the program.
The treasurer's office issued an RFP for the $2.6 billion 529 plan due to the pending expiration of current manager Ascensus' contract on June 5, 2016. Ascensus is invited to rebid.
Proposals are due at 1 p.m. CDT on Aug. 28. A decision is expected in mid-November.
The RFP is available on the treasurer's website.
