Rhode Island Airport Corp., Warwick, is looking for an investment consultant for the company’s $26.2 million retirement fund.
RIAC’s has a 414(h) plan administered by the Principal Financial Group with about $20 million in assets and a 457 deferred compensation plan. The two providers for the 457 plan are VALIC, with about $3.3 million, and Voya, with about $2.9 million in assets.
The search is being conducted because RIAC’s contract with its current consultant, Hooker & Holcombe Investment Advisors, expired, said an official with the organization. The firm is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on the RIAC’s website. Proposals are due by 4 p.m. EDT on Sept. 10. A selection is expected to be made in October.
Carla Ottaviano, RIAC financial analyst and administrator, said questions can be e-mailed to [email protected].
