Iowa Board of Regents, Urbandale, is searching for an investment consultant, said Patrice M. Sayre, chief business officer.
The board issued an RFP as part of its normal due diligence, Ms. Sayre said; current consultant Wilshire Associates is invited to rebid.
The consultant will advise the board on the $3 billion in assets it oversees for the University of Iowa, Iowa State University and University of Northern Iowa, which includes $550 million in endowment assets.
The RFP is available on the regents' website. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. CDT on Sept. 8. A decision is expected the week of Oct. 5.
