John LeRosen has joined private equity firm Vance Street Capital as a vice president, a new position, said Jenn Gill, Vance Street spokeswoman, in an e-mail.
Mr. LeRosen will find and execute investment transactions as well as work with portfolio company management teams.
Until June, Mr. LeRosen was chief financial officer of Avalon Laboratories, a medical device manufacturer of specialty medical tubing that was sold to Nordson in October for $180 million. Avalon was a portfolio company of private equity firm American Capital and its fund American Capital Equity III.
