Legato Capital Management has acquired the 35% equity ownership of limited partner Forward Management LLC, said spokesman Scott Ohm.
The acquisition makes the minority-owned manager of emerging managers 100% employee owned. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Forward Management itself was acquired earlier this year by Salient Partners. That acquisition closed in June.
Legato Capital Management has about $1.4 billion in assets under management.
