Los Angeles Fire & Police Pension System renewed its contract with international equity manager Boston Common Asset Management, which manages a $29.7 million portfolio, said Tom Lopez, chief investment officer of the $19.2 billion pension plan, in an e-mail.
The new contract will expire Sept. 30, 2018. Boston Common seeks to integrate financial and environmental, social and governance criteria into their stock selection process, a memo for the board's Aug. 6 meeting shows.
The existing contract with Boston Common, hired as an emerging manager in 2012, was to expire Sept. 30.
