Adam Goodman was named a managing director on Intermediate Capital Group’s North America private debt team, said an ICG spokeswoman in an e-mail.
It is a new position.
“Adam Goodman has a depth of investing experience and excellent relationships with private equity firms, advisers and investors across a range of U.S. private debt markets,” said Sal Gentile, head of North America, in a news release. “We are delighted that Adam has joined ICG and are confident that he will add significantly to developing ICG’s North American investment platform.”
Mr. Goodman reports to Brian Spenner, managing director, mezzanine North America.
Previously, Mr. Goodman was director, head of mezzanine investments and a portfolio manager for direct private debt, mezzanine and credit fund investments at MetLife Investment Management. He was replaced internally by Justin Ryvicker, director, said a MetLife spokesman in an e-mail.
As of June 30, ICG had €20 billion ($22 billion) in assets under management globally.
