Chris Hsia was appointed product manager for Schroders’ multiasset investments and portfolio solutions business, said a spokeswoman.
The position is new. Mr. Hsia will start Sept. 1, working with regional product managers, and consultant and distribution teams to ensure the firm’s clients have relevant information. He will report to Henriette Bergh, head of U.K. and European product and manager solutions, at Schroders.
Mr. Hsia was chief investment officer for Bank Morgan Stanley AG, and was head of investment products and solutions for international wealth management within Morgan Stanley & Co., said a news release from Schroders.
The firm also announced that Mei Huang will join as a quantitative analyst Aug. 17, reporting to Peter Weidner, head of advanced beta, multiasset quantitative research. Ms. Huang will be responsible for researching and constructing advanced beta equity strategies.
Ms. Huang previously worked in HSBC Asset Management’s global equities research division, the news release said. A spokeswoman for HSBC Asset Management was not available by press time.
The multiasset investments and portfolio solutions business manages £75.5 billion ($117 billion) of assets.
