Harald Reczek joined Credit Suisse as head of EMEA and Swiss distribution for its asset management business, said a spokeswoman for the firm.
Mr. Reczek fills a restructured role, with expanded responsibility for Italy, the U.K., Middle East and North Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Africa institutional business, said the spokeswoman.
Mr. Reczek is responsible for managing the distribution of core and alternative investment strategies in Switzerland, continental Europe, the U.K. and the Middle East.
He is based in Zurich. Mr. Reczek reports to Charles Shaffer, head of Credit Suisse Asset Management global distribution, and to Tim Blackwell, head of global core investments.
Mr. Reczek previously was head of the global client group, Switzerland and Austria, at Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management. A spokeswoman for the firm said his responsibilities were taken on by Manuel Faccio, head of the global client group, Switzerland and Southern Europe.
