Korea Post Savings is seeking global hedge fund managers to run global macro, equity market-neutral and event-driven strategies.
The RFP can be found on Korea Post's website. The deadline for submissions is Aug. 19.
A spokesman for Korea Post didn't specify how many hedge fund managers would be selected, but said the assignments could eventually come to $50 million per manager. Hedge fund firms interested in applying should have at least $1 billion in firmwide hedge fund assets and at least $300 million in strategy-specific assets, with a three-year track record.
A decision could be made by year-end, the spokesman said.
