Syracuse, N.Y., is searching for a record keeper for the city’s deferred compensation plan, said a notice posted on the city’s website.
The deferred compensation plan has $85 million in assets and MassMutual Financial Group is the incumbent record keeper, the RFP said. The new contract will be for up to five years.
The RFP didn’t say when the current contract expires, when the new contract starts, why the city issued an RFP or if MassMutual will be invited to rebid.
Proposals are due at 2:30 p.m. EDT Aug. 25. The RFP didn’t provide a timetable for a hiring decision.
The RFP notice is available on the city’s website. Registration is required.
