Marian Elliott joined Deloitte as a director, a spokeswoman for the consulting firm confirmed.
Ms. Elliott works in Deloitte’s total reward and benefits unit. Details on whether the role is new were not available by press time.
She is responsible for further developing the fund trustee advisory practice in London. The business provides companies and pension fund trustees with advice and support in the setting up and running of retirement plans and other benefits, as well as risk management and costs associated with those benefits.
Ms. Elliott previously was head of Spence & Partners’ trustee advisory practice. Brian Spence, founder of Spence & Partners, confirmed Ms. Elliott’s departure. He said the firm, which provides services to pension funds with less than £500 million ($775 million) of assets, filled her role in January with Alan Collins, who moved over from the company’s employer advisory practice.
