Chicago Municipal Employees’ Annuity & Benefit Fund is searching for one or more transition managers, said Juan Lopez Jr., investment officer, in an e-mail.
The $4.9 billion pension fund is conducting the search “to facilitate the restructuring of a portfolio when needed in a timely and efficient manner,” Mr. Lopez said. The pension fund does not have any transition managers now.
Proposals are due at 3 p.m. CDT on Aug. 21. A decision is expected by Oct. 1.
The RFP is available on the pension fund’s website.
