Michael Woodhouse was named managing director and head of secondaries and co-investments at the C$238.8 billion ($188.8 billion) Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, Toronto, said Mei Mavin, spokeswoman, in an e-mail.
Mr. Woodhouse, currently senior principal of funds, secondaries and co-investments, will replace Yann Robard in the role when Mr. Robard leaves the pension fund on July 31.
Ms. Mavin said the pension fund will not be replacing Mr. Woodhouse in his current role because there is “enough depth on the team.”
She did not provide further information on Mr. Robard's plans.
