Kent E. Weaver was named director of client service at Glenmede Investment Management, a spokeswoman said.
The position is new.
Mr. Weaver will act as the primary relationship manager for Glenmede's institutional clients, consulting on investing, asset allocation and the market environment. He reports to Sally Wirts, chief administrative officer.
Mr. Weaver was director of client service and sales and chief compliance officer at Philadelphia International Advisors. The firm closed at the end of June.
Glenmede Investment Management has approximately $10 billion of institutional assets under management.
