Rohan Singh was named the head of Northern Trust’s Singapore office and its Southeast Asia business, effective Sept. 1, the company announced Tuesday.
In that role, Mr. Singh will oversee the firm’s asset servicing and asset management businesses for institutional investors.
Mr. Singh effectively replaces William Mak, who was promoted to head of Asia-Pacific for Northern Trust Asset Management in May 2014. Mr. Singh serves as the Melbourne-based country head for Australia and New Zealand.
He, in turn, will be replaced by Madeleine Senior, also effective Sept. 1. Currently, Ms. Senior serves as Northern Trust’s head of business development for the firm’s asset servicing business in Europe, Middle East and Africa. A spokeswoman for Northern Trust said a replacement has not yet been named for the EMEA position.
