UAW Retiree Medical Benefits Trust, Ann Arbor, Mich., is searching for a new chief investment officer, a posting on the website of the National Association of State Retirement Administrators states.
The search is the result of the resignation last September of Kenneth Frier. Earlier this year, Mr. Frier joined Atlas Capital Advisors as partner and chief investment officer.
Avtar Vasu, senior managing director, was appointed interim CIO at the time of Mr. Frier’s resignation.
The job listing is posted on NASRA’s website. Patricia McCarthy, spokeswoman for the $60 billion trust, did not return a phone call seeking further information by press time. Executive search firm Korn/Ferry International is assisting.
