Georgina Marshall was named head of global research at Institutional Shareholder Services, effective Sept. 1, the proxy voting and corporate governance advisory firm announced.
She will replace Martha Carter, who will become head of global education initiatives, a new position.
Ms. Marshall will report to Gary Retelny, president and CEO. She currently is ISS deputy director of global research and head of research for Europe, Middle East and Africa. She will relocate to the ISS’ Rockville, Md., office from London.
ISS has not determined how Ms. Marshall will be replaced, said Nancy Adler, head of global communications and marketing.
