Simon Moscow was appointed head of asset management for the U.K., and Stephen Walker was named deputy head of asset management for the U.K. within Aberdeen Asset Management’s property division.
Mr. Moscow replaces Giles Easter, who plans to pursue interests elsewhere in the industry, said a statement by Aberdeen. Details on Mr. Easter’s plans and further information on Mr. Walker’s role were not available by press time.
Mr. Moscow will oversee the property team’s asset allocations, and Mr. Walker will support him.
Mr. Moscow was previously head of retail asset management in the U.K. at Aberdeen. Details of a replacement were not available by press time. Mr. Walker is head of Edinburgh asset management for the U.K. property team, a role he retains.
Aberdeen Asset Management has real estate assets under management of about £10.5 billion ($16.3 billion) in the U.K.
