City of Charlottesville (Va.) Retirement System is looking for a midcap equity manager for an $11 million portfolio benchmarked against the Russell Midcap Index. The process is open to growth and value managers, according to the RFP posted Friday.
The contract with the current manager, Penn Capital, is ending, Charlottesville Treasurer Jason Vandever said in an interview.
The contract is for three years, with the possibility of five, one-year renewals. Dahab Associates is helping the $120 million pension fund with the search.
Proposals are due at 5 p.m. EDT on Aug. 7.
The RFP is available on the Dahab website.
