DaVita HealthCare Partners Inc., Denver, hired Voya Retirement Services as the record keeper of its $1.1 billion 401(k) plan, said Jennifer Scharff, senior director, compensation and benefits, in an e-mail.
The company began a search for a record keeper in January 2014 in order to find “best-in-class retirement services to DaVita teammates,” Ms. Scharff said. Incumbent T. Rowe Price Group rebid for the services.
She said Voya had an “overall competitive edge when it came to record-keeping services, product offerings and holistic retirement planning.”
Ms. Scharff would not provide further information on investment options lineup changes, but said several options were changed as a result of the transition to Voya.
