Fresno (Calif.) City Retirement Systems is searching for a retirement administrator, said Stanley McDivitt, current administrator, in an e-mail.
The system, with a combined $2.6 billion in assets between two pension funds, posted an advertisement for the position on its website due to Mr. McDivitt's impending retirement on Nov. 30. He has been with the retirement systems since November 1981 and was appointed the first administrator in 1989.
He said the retirement system hopes to make a decision in early October.
The job posting is available on the retirement system's website. The deadline for interested applicants is Aug. 3.
