Alaska Retirement Management Board, Juneau, hired Pyramis Global Advisors to manage $200 million in a high-yield commercial mortgage-backed securities strategy, said a board meeting summary provided by Judith Hall, liaison officer.
Funding will come from internally managed fixed income and cash.
The board oversees more than $29 billion in retirement assets.
