Chris Austin was named global head of consultant relations at Intermediate Capital Group, said an ICG spokeswoman.
It is a new position. Mr. Austin also will help expand ICG’s coverage of North America as a director of the North America distribution team, and will have responsibility for liquid credit strategies globally.
He will report to Andreas Mondovits, global head of distribution and client relations.
Previously, Mr. Austin was head of U.S. sales and global consultant relations at Standish Mellon Asset Management. His responsibilities have been assumed by Daniel Richter, managing director of consultant relations at Standish, and James Kohley, executive vice president of Standish, MBSC and director of U.S. sales, said a spokeswoman.
ICG had €18 billion ($19.5 billion) in assets under management globally as of March 31.
