Louisiana Municipal Police Employees Retirement System, Baton Rouge, committed $15 million to Coller International Partners VII, a secondary private equity fund managed by Coller Capital, said Kathy Bourque, director.
The $1.9 billion pension fund conducted an invitation-only search in April following board approval of the 2015 private equity strategic plan that called for commitments of $15 million each to a secondary private equity fund and a private equity fund of funds.
A timeline on the private equity fund of funds has yet to be determined.
The other finalist was Permal Group.
Investment consultant NEPC assisted.
