Sacramento, Calif., is searching for a bundled provider for its 401(a), 457, Roth IRA and Retirement Health Savings plans, said an RFP on procurement website PlanetBids.
The selected firm will provide record keeping/administration, participant education and communication, and custodian/trustee services. ICMA-RC is the provider for the 401(a) plan, according to the city’s most recent annual report.
The reason for the search, whether ICMA-RC can rebid and further information on the other plans could not be learned by press time.
The RFP is available on PlanetBids’ website. Registration is required. Proposals are due by 3 p.m. PDT July 1, with a hiring decision expected in August.
