J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. Vice Chairman James B. “Jimmy” Lee Jr. died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, the bank said in a statement from CEO James “Jamie” Dimon. Mr. Lee was 62.
“Jimmy was a great friend, leader and mentor to me and so many others,” Mr. Dimon said in the statement. “Jimmy was a master of his craft, but he was so much more — he was an incomparable force of nature.”
Mr. Lee is survived by his wife, Beth, and three children, Lexi, Jamie and Izzy, according to the statement.
