Vincent Mortier was named deputy chief investment at Amundi, said an announcement on the money manager’s website Tuesday.
Mr. Mortier also will become a member of Amundi’s executive committee. An Amundi spokesman could not be reached by press time for additional information on Mr. Mortier’s roles.
Previously, Mr. Mortier was the chief financial officer in Societe Generale’s global banking and investor solutions division. A Societe Generale spokesman could not immediately be reached for information on a replacement.
Amundi had $1.1 trillion in worldwide assets under management as of Dec. 31, according to Pensions & Investments data.
