James D. Rowe was named director of institutional sales at World Asset Management, said Kathleen Pitton, spokeswoman for the firm’s parent, Comerica Bank.
Mr. Rowe replaced Robert L. Hudon, who left the company. Ms. Pitton did not know where he went.
Mr. Rowe is responsible for planning, conducting and executing national sales and calling campaigns. He reports to Dennis A. Johnson, chairman and chief investment officer for World Asset Management.
Mr. Rowe was principal and founder of Rowe Capital Partners. Rowe Capital Partners is in the process of being dissolved, Ms. Pitton said.
World Asset Management, which specializes in index strategies, has $12.6 billion in assets under management.
