Haverhill (Mass.) Retirement System is searching for an active domestic fixed-income manager to run $19 million.
The $180 million pension fund will consider both separate accounts and commingled fund vehicles and is seeking strategies benchmarked to the Barclays Capital U.S. Aggregate Bond index or other comparable index, said an RFP posted on the website of Wainwright Investment Counsel, the pension fund’s investment consultant.
Further information on current manager or managers could not be learned by press time.
The RFP is available on Wainwright’s website. Proposals are due at 10 a.m. EDT on June 30. A timetable for a decision has yet to be determined.
