Will Averill was named director of institutional sales at Aristotle, spokeswoman Tricia Ross said.
It is a new position. Mr. Averill started June 1 and reports to Ranjit Sufi, managing director, institutional sales and marketing.
Mr. Averill previously was vice president of institutional services at Loomis, Sayles & Co. Erin Heard, Loomis Sayles spokeswoman, did not have further information by press time.
Aristotle consists of four affiliated money managers — Aristotle Capital Management, Aristotle Capital Boston, Aristotle Credit Partners and West Gate Horizons Advisors — and had a combined $12.4 billion in assets under management, as of May 31.
