Cook County Annuity & Benefit Fund, Chicago, this week plans to issue an RFP for an investment consultant to the $8.8 billion pension fund.
Callan Associates is the current consultant; its contract expires Dec. 31. The firm can rebid.
The selected consultant will work under a five-year contract, effective Jan. 1.
The RFP will be posted on the pension fund’s website. Proposals are due July 10; a selection is expected sometime this fall.
