Kelli Rogers, chief financial officer of the $1.8 billion Louisiana Municipal Police Employees Retirement System, Baton Rouge, has resigned, said Kathy Bourque, director.
Ms. Rogers resigned at the pension fund's most recent board meeting on May 20. She had started as the pension fund's first CFO in March 2014. Ms. Bourque did not know Ms. Rogers' plans or the reason for her departure.
The board originally had searched for the newly created position of chief investment officer, as well as a certified public accountant to do the accounting for the pension fund, and Ms. Rogers took on both roles with the CFO title.
Ms. Bourque said the pension fund is beginning a search for a replacement.
Ms. Rogers couldn't be reached by press time for comment.
