An analysis published Monday by Morningstar found that among the approximately 7,700 individuals named as portfolio managers of U.S. open-end mutual funds, only 9.4% are women.
Dodge & Cox leads the way among the largest money managers – with 25% women managers, followed by Franklin Templeton (14.7%).
J.P. Morgan, Principal and PIMCO round out the top 5 with 13.6%, 13.4% and 12.8%, female portfolio managers, respectively.
