New York State Deferred Compensation Plan, Albany, is searching for an investment consultant, said David Fischer, executive director.
Mr. Fischer said in an e-mail an RFP is being issued due to the upcoming contract expiration of incumbent Callan Associates. Callan is invited to bid on the new contract, he added.
The contract will run for five years with the option for a pair of one-year renewals at the discretion of the board of the $18 billion plan, the RFP said.
The RFP is available on the plan’s website. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. EDT June 26, and finalists will be interviewed in mid-August, the RFP said. The board will choose a candidate in August, and the contract will take effect April 1, 2016.
