Vernon Hills (Ill.) Police Pension Fund is searching for an investment consultant, said Nikki Larson, assistant finance director for the village, in an e-mail.
The search is being conducted for due diligence reasons, and Graystone Consulting, the incumbent consultant, is invited to rebid, Ms. Larson wrote.
The $39 million pension fund has a current asset allocation of 63% equity and other assets, and 37% fixed income.
The RFP is available on the village’s website. Proposals are due at 4 p.m. CDT on July 10.
A hiring decision is anticipated by the Aug. 27 pension board meeting.
