Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, West Palm Beach, Fla., hired Lincoln Financial Group as record keeper of its 401(a) and 457 plans, spokeswoman Therese C. Barbera said in an e-mail.
The current record keeper of the plans, which have a combined $140 million in assets, is MassMutual Financial; the transition will take place June 1.
Ms. Barbera said an RFP was issued last summer and that the sheriff’s office made the change to reduce costs, improve access and advisory services for employees, and improve technological support. She would not provide further information.
